Gilberto Nunez, the Dutchess County dentist found not guilty last year of killing his lover’s husband and whose murder trial was featured on "Dateline" and "48 Hours," was sentenced on Tuesday on grand larceny, felony fraud, and other charges, according to Orange County District Attorney's Office. Yorktown Supervisor Says He Will Pay His Back Taxes
YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Yorktown Supervisor Michael Grace says that he will pay the town the almost $12,000 in back property taxes he owes, according to lohud.com.
Grace has been behind on his taxes on the land he owns on Hanover Street dating back to 2013 according to the town's receiver of taxes, Barbara Korsak, said lohud.com.
According to lohud.com, in the past, Yorktown was different than other Westchester municipalities, such as Ossining and New Rochelle, where state laws are used to force a property owner to pay up, or face foreclosure.
