East Fishkill Police Chief Kevin Keefe said Perez died when a fire destroyed her home at 374 Augusta Drive in Hopewell Junction. Fishkill Man Involved In Dispute That Leads To Child's Injury, Police Say A Fishkill man was charged Saturday with endangering the welfare of a child after getting into a domestic dispute with a 10-year-old child, according to the New York State Police. David J. Keane, 43, was arrested after an investigation by troopers from the Wappinger barracks found that Keane had engaged in the physical dispute with the child on Saturday, Jan. 21, causing minor injuries, said Trooper Melissa McMorris, spokesperson for the state police. Keane was released and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.

Ashley Badenchini, 25, was hit around 2:11 a.m. in the driveway of 55 Thiels Road when she was struck by a 2015 Dodge truck in which she had been a passenger, said Lt. Keith Williams.
