Man Found Dead Pinned Under Dodge Ram On Route 22 An investigation is underway after a 58-year-old Fairfield County man was found dead underneath a pickup truck in Dutchess County. New York State Police troopers responded to a 911 dispatch of a man pinned under a vehicle on Route 22 in the town of Pawling on Friday, June 1 just before 8 a.m.  James C. Roberts of Danbury was trapped under a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck. Pawling Fire Department removed the vehicle, but Roberts was pronounced dead at the scene by EMStar Paramedics. DWI Motorist Drove On Shoulder Of Route 22, Sheriff Says A Pawling man was arrested for DWI after Putnam County Sheriff's deputies watched him drive on the shoulder of Route 22. Ryan C. Castle, 31, was arrested around 2:10 a.m. Saturday, March 17, when Deputy Sheriff Ronald Yeager observed a vehicle traveling south on the shoulder of Route 22 in the Town of Southeast, the department said.
