59-Year-Old Driver Killed In Northeast Philadelphia Crash: Officials One man has died after crashing his car into a wall early Monday morning, June 17, according to Philadelphia police.  Authorities said the 59-year-old's 2007 Chevrolet lost control on the 1100 block of Welsh Road.  His car struck a wall then continued westbound on the sidewalk before coming to a rest in the roadway, police said. He was taken to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead around 2:40 a.m. Authorities did not release his name.  An investigation is ongoing, they added.

Pedestrian Dies After Berks County Crash: Coroner A pedestrian died from her injuries after being struck by a car in Hamburg, officials say.  Alicia Barlip, 44, was hit near South Fourth Street and Pine Street on June 4, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.  She was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Bethlehem where she died from blunt force trauma on Thursday, June 13, officials said. A dump truck lost directional control, ran off the roadway to the right, struck a tree, and overturned, New Jersey State Police said.
