More Than 15,000 Still Without Power Following Damaging Storms In Maryland
Thousands in Maryland remain in the dark days after severe storms left extensive damage and flooding in parts of the state.
As of 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug 9, Baltimore Gas and Electric was still working to repair 1,034 active outages that were impacting 15,067 of the company's 1,340,384 Maryland customers.

Jewelry Store Robber Convicted Of For Daylong Trail Of Terror In MD: Feds
A 29-year-old man may spend the rest of his life behind bars after terrorizing several Maryland businesses during a daylong crime spree throughout Baltimore, federal officials announced.
Baltimore resident Keith Poynter, Jr. has become the latest to be convicted for his role in a 2019 series of armed robberies, all committed in one day, and for discharging a weapon during one of the incidents.
He was convicted by a jury following a four-day trial.
