RHINEBECK, N.Y. -- Snow from the Nor'easter was too much for the roof of the Williams Lumber store on Route 9, causing it to partially collapse around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, Rhinebeck Fire Department officials said. Police Search For Wanted Nanuet Man
NANUET, N.Y. -- The Clarkstown Police Department is asking the public for help in locating a man whose last known residence was Nanuet who is wanted for larceny, possession of stolen property and for having an unlicensed dog.Michael Brenner, 66, is described as being a white male, 5-foot-10, with black/gray hair and blue eyes. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clarkstown Police Department Warrant Unit at 845-639-5880.

FBI Task Force Asking For Tips In Five Mount Vernon Homicides
MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Someone out there has information and the FBI is willing to pay for it if the tips will help solve one of five Mount Vernon homicides the Safe Streets Gang Task Force have aimed their sights on to close. The homicides, which took place between 2011 and 2016, include the slayings of Rubin Davis, Dean Daniels, Jovelle Stewart, Wilbert Francis and Mario Frater, said FBI Criminal Assistant Special Agent in Charge Michael Osborn. DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- Although the travel ban has been lifted for Dutchess County roads, officials are encouraging residents to only venture out if necessary due to dangerous conditions. Dutchess County Executive Marcus J. Three New Rochelle Firefighters Recovering From Injuries After Blaze
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Three New Rochelle firefighters are recovering from injuries sustained while battling an intense fire on Thornbury Road near the Scarsdale town line during the height of the Nor'easter on Tuesday. The firefighters -- one who received second-degree burns, another who received shoulder injuries after the ceiling collapsed on top of him and another who received a neck injury -- have been released from the hospital and are recovering, said New Rochelle Fire Chief Louis Dimeglio. Wappinger Rollover Crash Injures One
WAPPINGER, N.Y. -- A rollover crash around 10 a.m. Wednesday on Route 9 in Wappinger injured at least one person and blocked northbound traffic for more than an hour, said New York State police. The incident, which happened near Myers Corner Road, occurred when a driver lost control and rolled the vehicle, sending nearby vehicles scrambling to get out of the way, state police said. The roadway has reopened. No information is available on the condition of the driver, said Trooper Melissa McMorris, spokeswoman for the New York State Police.

Motorist Flees Scene After Crashing Into Lake, Ramapo PD Says
RAMAPO, N.Y. -- A driver who crashed a vehicle into Lake Suzzane around 5 a.m. Monday and then fled, is still on the run, according to Ramapo Police.Ramapo officers responded to the scene after a receiving a call of an accident in the area of Suzanne Drive and Francis Place in Monsey, police said. Once on scene, officers said they discovered that a vehicle have gone over a guardrail and was partially into Lake Suzzane. The driver was nowhere to be found. Police are continuing their investigation.
