Paul Milo has worked as a reporter in northern New Jersey for more than 20 years, first for North Jersey Media Group / NorthJersey.com, then at Patch.com and at NJ.com / The Star-Ledger. He has written about a 106-year-old World War I veteran, the Sept. 11 attacks and a 15-year-old stock manipulator who was the youngest person ever civilly charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission, among many other stories. He has interviewed governors, presidential candidates and celebrities including Ryan Seacrest and comedian Kevin Hart.

In addition to his work for New Jersey-based outlets, he has also written for BeliefNet, Editor and Publisher, The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe and other publications, as well as freelance assignments for global chemical company BASF.

His first book, Your Flying Car Awaits, was published by HarperCollins in 2010. As part of the book’s promotional efforts he was interviewed by The New York Times and on WNYC radio’s The Brian Lehrer Show

Amazon Opening Distribution Center In Franklin: Report Retailing giant Amazon plans to open a distribution center in Franklin Township, local officials told mycentraljersey.com.  In addition to the distribution center, slated to open by June, the company is also opening two warehouses at Weston Canal Road and Randolph Road. The site is under construction.  More than 1,000 positions on two shifts will be created, with hundreds more temporary positions created during peak holiday periods.

Man Indicted In Fatal Shooting Of Bayonne Woman A grand jury has indicted a Jersey City man on murder and other charges in the fatal shooting of a Bayonne woman earlier this year, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said.  Anthony Shuler, 28, has also been charged with weapons offenses.  Police were called to 484 JFK Boulevard in Bayonne early on the morning of Sept. 22 on a report of domestic violence. Officers found Diamond Robinson, 26, shot to death.  Shuler was arrested later that day in Bayonne. He is in custody pending trial, the prosecutor's office said.
