She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She attended Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

Emmett Miller of Wilton turned himself in to Wilton Police on Wednesday, June 12, on an active arrest warrant following an investigation into stolen Israeli yard signs from various areas within the town of Wilton.  According to Lt. The incident occurred in Orange County around 9:35 a.m., Wednesday, June 19, in the area of 124 Grand St., in the city of Newburgh.  According to Mike Neppl, Chief of Staff for the city, officers responded and located a victim, a 44-year-old City of Newburgh resident. Tomkins Cove Man Charged After Firing Shotgun At Car Following Dispute A Hudson Valley man was charged with menacing after allegedly firing a shotgun at a car following a dispute.
