Ossining Girls Basketball Coach, Players Earn State-Wide Honors OSSINING, N.Y. -- Ossining High School girls basketball coach Dan Ricci earned Coach of the Year honors for New York from USA Today. Two Ossining players also won individual honors. Jalay Knowles, a senior, was named to New York’s first team by the daily newspaper. Shadeen Samuels, a junior, was named to the second team. Ossining finished 23-3 and won the Class AA girls basketball championship.
