Man Injured In Single-Vehicle Fairfield County Crash
A driver suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash in Fairfield County. Connecticut State Police said the crash happened on Route 7 North in Brookfield at 2:50 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 13. A 2005 Ford F150 was traveling in an unknown lane near Exit 12 when for an unknown reason, the Ford ran off the roadway and struck the guardrail end in the median, police said. The Ford then veered across the road and ran off into the shoulder up an embankment and rolled over, police said. A crash involving the rollover of a vehicle has closed two roads in York County on Tuesday morning, according to police. The crash occurred at Days Mill and Brillhart Station Roads on Tuesday, shortly before 7:30 a.m., according to a release by York County regional police. The roadway was closed traffic in both directions due to the crash and drivers were asked to avoid the area., police say. 18-Year-Old Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash In Region
A man from the region died in a single-vehicle rollover crash. Sullivan County resident Robert J. Lands, age 18, of Neversink, was killed around 3:50 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 16, after rolling his car at 482 Stanton Corners Road in the town of Liberty, said the New York State Police. According to Trooper Steven Nevel, an investigation revealed that a 1995 Dodge-Ram was traveling on Stanton Corners Road and failed to negotiate a curve causing the vehicle to leave the roadway on the north shoulder and overturn. Lands was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation is ongoing.

A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on I-90 in Massachusetts. Troopers in Worcester County from the State Police-Charlton arracks responded to the crash eastbound in Charlton around 4:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8. One person had to be extricated and three were hospitalized following a single-vehicle rollover crash in Shelton. The crash occurred around 3 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Route 108 (Shelton Avenue) and Pine Street, said Shelton Police Det. Richard Bango. A mother and her two children were taken to a local hospital after the crash which caused the vehicle rollover.
