Summit Supports 'Superhero Sam's' Fight Against Leukemia
Sam Davydov is just five years old, but is already in the fight of his life.
The Summit five-year-old was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia last week, right before his sixth birthday. A fundraiser has been created to assist his family with the financial burden of treatment and allow his parents, Yan and Katie to take time off work to be by his side. As of Monday, March 4, more than $95,000 has been raised.

Tammy Tobitsch, Outdoor Enthusiast From Union County, Dies At 47
Tammy Tobitsch, a New Providence resident, died of breast cancer at the age of 47 on Friday, Sept. 29 according to her obituary.
A native of Summit, Tobitsch graduated from Summit High School and developed her love for the outdoors at the Frost Valley YMCA in the Catskills.
She enjoyed camping, hiking, biking, kayaking and sailing, her obituary reads. Her outdoor excursions took her to Winnipeg and Sweden, according to her obituary.
