Hiker Fractures Head In 20-Foot Fall In Harriman State Park: Responders A 40-year-old woman suffered a fractured head after falling around 20 feet while hiking at Harriman State Park in New York, responders said. The rescue happened on Friday, March 15 after a hiker fell in the Torne Valley area in Harriman State Park at around 6 p.m., according to the Spring Hill Community Ambulance Corps.
