Traffic came to a standstill on one of Southern Maryland's busiest roads Tuesday morning. A crash on Crain Highway near Mattawoman Drive in Charles County shut down all northbound and southbound through lanes shortly before midday on Aug. 25, according to the Maryland Department of Transportation. A Tuesday morning commute took an unexpected turn in Maryland when a crash involving a bus left one person trapped inside a vehicle. Montgomery County Fire and Rescue crews were called to North Stonestreet Avenue and Park Road, at the entrance to Rockville Station, shortly after 9 a.m. on Aug. 25, where a vehicle and a bus had collided.
