They'll need to hold onto that momentum. Tuesday's victory was the girls' eighth win, but they'll need two more to get into the playoffs.

"I didn't anticipate us being in this position, but we are, and we need to take care of business so we can get in," head coach Erin Largess said after Tuesday's lopsided victory. "A game like this is huge for confidence, for momentum, for the future."

The Colonials play Thursday at North Middlesex and take on Shepherd Hill Sunday.
