Shrewsbury Schools Closed Friday

SHREWSBURY, Mass. - In anticipation of a blizzard, public schools in Shrewsbury have canceled school for Friday.

In an email, Superintendent Joseph Sawyer wrote:

"Due to the potential for dangerous weather conditions during the day tomorrow, I have determined that it is prudent to cancel school for Friday.  All Shrewsbury Public Schools will be closed on Friday, and the schools will remain closed to all school and community activities minimally through Saturday, Feb. 9."
