SHREWSBURY, Mass. — Shrewsbury Police have released their log for Aug. 7-8. No arrests were reported. Incidents include:
• At 8 a.m. on Aug. 7, police responded to a report of downed wires at 575 Hartford Turnpike. The Fire and Light departments responded.
• At 8:17 a.m. on Aug. 7, police responded to a 911 hangup. It was determined that a female on Crescent Street had dialed E911 regarding her television. An officer spoke with her.
• At 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 7, police responded to a report of sewage coming out of a manhole in the parking lot behind a business at 1000 Boston Turnpike. A private contractor was going to take care of the situation.
