SHREWSBURY, Mass. — Shrewsbury Police have released their incident report for Feb. 4 to Feb. 8. Among items reported:
Ruben Rivera, 36, of 51324 Avalon Way, was arrested Feb. 5 at his residence after state police obtained a warrant to search his house.
According to court records, "Massachusetts State Police confiscated a loaded large capacity Glock firearm, approximately 36 grams of crack cocaine, and U.S. currency."
Rivera was charged with carrying a firearm without a license, possessing ammunition without a firearm identification card, trafficking in cocaine and possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute.
Rivera was ordered held on $50,000 bail at Westborough District Court on Feb. 6.
Also on the incident report, a Shrewsbury man was arrested Feb. 4 at the intersection of Route 9 and Maple Avenue on a warrant.
