Shrewsbury Police Log: Storm Causes Multiple Accidents

SHREWSBURY, Mass. — Shrewsbury Police responded to multiple auto accidents Wednesday evening during the nor'easter that struck Central Massachusetts.

Police and fire units responded to a car that flipped onto its roof near 408 Avalon Way. No injuries were reported, but one woman was transported to UMass Medical as a precautionary measure.

Other accidents occurred on Boston Turnpike, Floral Street, and at the intersections of Main Street and Thesland Drive; Boylston Street and Wachusett Avenue; and Boston Turnpike and North Quinsigamond Avenue.

No injuries were reported.
