SHREWSBURY, Mass. ‒ Shrewsbury Police helped a 10-year-old boy with a fishing hook in his finger and killed what was believed to be a rabid fox on Sewell Street, according to the incident log for Aug. 15 to Aug. 17.
Also from the police incident log:
• Anthony A. Daniels Jr., 30, of Worcester, was arrested Wednesday, Aug. 15, at 7 Boston Turnpike on a warrant charging him with operating a vehicle without a license.
• Laurie L. Harrington, 42, of 11 Wheeler Road, North Grafton, was arrested Wednesday, Aug. 15, at 50 Boston Turnpike and charged with shoplifting, two counts of shoplifting by concealing merchandise, possession of a Class B substance and possession of a Class E substance.
• Lorelei J. King, 48, of Hopkinton, was arrested Thursday, Aug. 16, at 731 Boston Turnpike and charged with assault and battery, shoplifting, disorderly conduct on a public conveyance, and failure to stop for police.
• Andrew J. Hutt, 24, of Boylston, was arrested Friday, Aug. 17, at 2:14 a.m. at the intersection of South Street and Hartford Turnpike and charged with a marked lanes violation, speeding, operating under the influence of liquor and failing to use care when starting, stopping, turning or backing up.
