SHREWSBURY, Mass. — Shrewsbury Public Library has expanded its e-reading options with the incorporation of Zinio. The database includes about 40 magazines that can be read from home on a computer, smartphone, or tablet.
The database is available on an app that can be downloaded on a tablet or smartphone, on which new issues of subscribed magazines are automatically downloaded.
Shrewsbury Electronic Resources LibrarianKate Gray said that was "exciting, because previously patrons couldn't check out our current issues."
The magazines appear in the app as exact replicas as the print versions. Titles include Consumer Reports, Harvard Business Review, Seventeen, Men's Health, and Martha Stewart and more popular titles
Shrewsbury Library patrons interested in the Zinio service can learn more here.
Other electronic content services available through the library include One Click Digital for audiobooks, Overdrive for e-books and e-audiobooks, Freading for e-books, and Freegal for Mp3s.
