MBTA: Commuter Rail Will Shut Down At 3:30 p.m. Friday

BOSTON, Mass. - Massachusetts Bay Commuter Rail and the MBTA have announced they are planning on operating regular weekday service throughout Friday morning, with all commuter rail lines scheduled to shut down at 3:30 p.m.

Riders are encouraged to make travel trips as early in the day as possible, Massachusetts Bay Commuter rail said in a press release. Customers are urged to check the MBTA schedule for the last train departure on their line before 3:30 p.m.

All final trains departing before 3:30 p.m. will go to their destination and will make all station stops. Regularly scheduled service will operate until service is suspended.
