Friday, Dec. 7

Drop-In Play Group. 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Weekly drop-in play group for children up to first grade who are accompanied by a parent, guardian, or caretaker. Mount Olivet Lutheran Church. 34 Prospect St.

Senior Center Christmas Party. Noon. State Representative Matthew Beaton will host a Christmas luncheon. There will be live entertainment provided, as well as a ham dinner and assortment of desserts and coffee. The event is free. Shrewsbury Senior Center

Second Annual Winter Craft Night. 6 to 8 p.m. Holiday gifts, crafts and food will be available. Admission is free with the donation of a used, unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots. Spring Street School. 123 Spring St.

Saturday, Dec. 8

Breakfast With Santa. 9 to 11 a.m. Admission is $5. Arts and craft activities, as well as pictures with Santa. Trinity Episcopal Church. 440 Main St.

Shrewsbury Police Toy Drive. 9 a.m. to noon. Shrewsbury Police Patrolmans Local 426 is hosting a Toys For Tots drive, where it will attempt to fill the department's patrol wagon Shrewsbury Police Department. 106 Maple Ave.
