Friday, Dec. 14

Drop-In Play Group. 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Weekly drop-in play group for children up to first-grade who are accompanied by a parent, guardian, or caretaker. Mount Olivet Lutheran Church. 34 Prospect St.

Movie & Lunch. 11:30 a.m. This month’s movie is "The Lucky One" (PG13, 101 minutes). Shrewsbury Senior Center. 98 Maple Ave.

Girls Varsity Basketball. 7 p.m. The Colonials host Westborough. Shrewsbury High School Gym. 64 Holden St.

Saturday, Dec. 15

Shrewsbury Child Development Committee Holiday Party. 1 p.m. Activities include games and crafts, refreshments, and a special appearance by Santa Claus. Spring Street School. 123 Spring St.

Drop And Shop. 1 p.m. Drop your child off for fun activities while you do your holiday shopping. Shrewsbury Health and Racquet Club. 3 Tennis Drive.

The party at the SCDC is $10 at the door. That includes activities, refreshments, stories and pictures with Santa. And each person leaves with a 4x6 photo. Please email me at scdckids@scdc.org so we know how many people to expect
