Friday, Nov. 23

"The Nutcracker" At Hanover: Times vary. Classic ballet featuring local dancers runs from Friday through Sunday, with a special school performance Monday. Drop-In Playgroup. 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  Weekly drop-in play group for children up to first-grade accompanied by a parent, guardian, or caretaker. Mount Olivet Lutheran Church. 34 Prospect St.

Saturday, Nov. 24

Christmas Tree Fund-raiser. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The lodge will again be selling Christmas trees this season in support of local charities, including coats for kids in the Shrewsbury school system, blood drive sponsorship, Worcester County Food bank, Shriner's Hospitals and many others.
