Christmas Party at the Senior Center

On Friday, December 7th at noon, State Representative
Matthew Beaton will host a Christmas Luncheon that will take place at the Shrewsbury Senior Center located at 98 Maple Ave. There will be live entertainment provided as well as a delicious ham dinner and assortment of desserts and coffee. The event is free. Those who are interested in attending are encouraged to sign up at the front desk at the Senior Center by December 4th.

“This is an event that is starting to become a tradition here at the Senior Center every holiday season and I’m happy that this year, we’ll be able to expand to provide a complimentary lunch for everyone to enjoy as well as the talents of Malcolm Halliday who is sure to delight everyone with his music,” said Beaton. “It is always great catching up with the folks and staff at the Senior Center, especially during this wonderful time of the year to find out what
everyone is up to.”

This year’s entertainment will be provided by Malcolm Halliday. Halliday is a concert pianist, organist and conductor, who lives in Worcester. He has been the
Minister of Music for 23 years at the First Congregational Church of Shrewsbury, where he directs one of the largest and most active music ministries in central Massachusetts. He is also Artistic Director and Conductor of the community
