Construction and Accidents Cause Road Closures

PELHAM, N.Y. – Accidents and construction caused closures on some Westchester County roads Monday morning.Construction on the Saw Mill River Parkway in both directions closed the right lane and shoulder between the Bronx-Westchester County line and Exit 17, CR 134 in Greenburgh, until 2 p.m., according to the New York State Department of Transportation.

Construction on the Saw Mill River Parkway northbound at Exit 9, Executive Boulevard, closed the right shoulder until 3 p.m.An accident occurred on I-287 eastbound at Exit 9, Hutchinson River Parkway, just before 9 a.m., according to the New York State Thruway Authority.Debris fell onto the road on I-87 southbound between the Tappan Zee Bridge toll barrier and Exit 10, South Nyack, just after 9 a.m.Construction on the Sprain Brook Parkway in both directions closed the right lane and shoulder between the Bronx River Parkway and Dobbs Ferry Road, NY 100B in Greenburgh until 3 p.m.

Roadwork on NY 22 in both directions at Wilmot Road, CR 113 in Eastchester, closed the right shoulder until 3:30 p.m.
