Darien runner Liz Herbert finished her second career marathon Monday in Boston in 3:13:33, finishing seventh among state runners. Her only previous marathon was in New York in 2009.
While most marathoners are recovering this week, runners will hit their stride Saturday in Darien in the 3-mile Bunny Boogie beginning at 9 a.m. at Pear Tree Point. Women runners will get a head start of two minutes and 30 seconds. Full registration information is available on the clubct.org website.
