Accidents and Construction Cause Delays in County

PELHAM, N.Y. – Accidents and construction on Westchester County roads have caused some delays throughout the county.

An accident with injuries on Interstate 684 southbound at Exit 9A, Interstate 287 in Harrison, has the right shoulder blocked, according to the New York State Department of Transportation. Construction on the Bronx River Parkway southbound near Exit 10, E. 236th Street, has the right lane closed until 2 p.m.

Road maintenance operations on Interstate 87 southbound has the right lane closed from after the Tappan Zee Bridge toll to just before Exit 10, South Nyack, until 4 p.m., according to the New York State Thruway Authority.

An accident on the Sprain Brook Parkway northbound just south of Dobbs Ferry Road, NY 100B in Greenburgh, has the right should blocked.

Construction on the Saw Mill River Parkway southbound just south of Exit 32, Hunts Lane in New Castle, has the right lane closed until 3 p.m. Construction in the same direction near Exit 33, Roaring Brook Road, has the left lane closed until 3 p.m.
