SHREWSBURY, Mass. — Shrewsbury-based medical technology company Valeritas has given more than $22,000 to the American Diabetes Association through a matching-donation.
Company employees raised more than $10,000 during the Step Out Walk Committee for the American Diabetes Association in September at UMass Medical School in Worcester. Valeritas agreed to match any money raised.
All the money will be used toward research, education, and advocacy in the fight against diabetes.
